Vonder Haar Performing Arts in residence at Vonder Haar Center for the Performing Arts Vonder Haar Performing Arts was established to facilitate the process which takes the student from the classroom to the stage. The Performing Arts isolated in the classroom remain mere technical exercises, incomplete, with unfulfilled promise. Only when the curtain goes up and the connection is made with an audience can a Performing Art be fully realized, and true Art even be possible. Only when the curtain goes up and the lights go on can the magic happen. Mission Statement To offer diverse performance opportunities for young students - primarily in the disciplines of Dance, Theatre and Musical Theatre. To afford young performers the opportunity to work with professionals in their fields in a safe and professional atmosphere. To provide an environment which fosters young artists and provides an avenue for professional development and creativity. To foster the mutual respect, work ethic and collaborative spirit necessary to work in the Arts. To develop respect and appreciation for the Arts in the performers and the audience alike.
